Read up on the different candidates' positions at this site: http://www.vote-smart.org
Choose the election (i.e. presidential) and party, then it generates a list of ALL the candidates who have announced or are considering. Then each cadidate has a basic bio, position, voting history, etc., some with links to take you even deeper into their political positions.
VERY interesting and IMPORTANT to making informed decisions about our next president! I've been quite surprised at some of the information I've found so far...
Whatever your political affiliations, please check out your party's candidates--and those of the other party too.
Let's ALL get more informed!

Yes and I will continue to check out all candidates I am interested in until election day. I will also remember those who I believe contributed to the Country's demise by voting for the Immigration Bill or for eliminating the tax cuts or for raising taxes.

Yes, but he is not on vote smart yet.
I chose a philosophy regardless of party for the White House, and for Congress I am voting against one incumbent who has been there 20 years and another who has been in office 18 years, and I am re-electing a congressman who has been in office four years. You see I think we need to throw out the old and bring in the new. Regardless of party in Congress.

Yes I have. I WANT BETTER CHOICES ! .No one, in my opinion. Can come up with a viable strategic plan for withdrawal from Iraq. Our Homeland security isn't realistic. And Illegal Immigration is a joke. They all seem to be telling us what we want to hear alright , but are really at a "just wait and see how it turns out" attitude. There is so much political side stepping and it seems like no one is really listening to what WE,... the American people really want. Makes you wonder if our elected officials can hear anything but the sound of cash registers...

Yes, I HAVE researched the political positions...although I don't agree with what the CURRENT GOP people are doing, and I have for my 35 years ALWAYS voted Democrat, I see myself gravitating towards Ron Paul because he is FOR the Constitution and wants to back the USA not the whole fricken world!

Yes I have! I learned nothing that I have not heard before. I tried to compare each of them to my standard of being Honest; Intelligent; Informed; Compassionate; Interested in the needs of all Americans:; Flexiable; Energetic; Charismatic; Honarable; Forthcoming; and Respectful of the people who put him/ her in Office ; Is not in the pocket of big business and puts forth waorkable plans for improving the Health and Welare of all our beople. Guess what? There is not one candidate that even comes close.

Nope, there's a year and a half yet to go and others can sign up to run that may be more qualified to be president and from the looks of things, that's no going to be too tough to come up with someone better than all of them.

I don't support any of the current candidates but I have researched the ones that are running. Maybe that is why I don't support them.
