I was in business school, and took up to 21 hours. I still found time to hang out on Saturday's at the coffee shops, play chess, and bull s***t about the local philosophical topics of the day.
Just make sure that you don't procrastinate on your homework. That will be the kiss of death for your grades!

It depends on how well you want to do & the classes you take. I think 17 credits is a lot b/c you'll probably have some chemistry and biology and those take a lot of time. I once had a semester with 12 credits of only chem and physics and I never left the library so I'd take fewer if I were you. Better to take an extra semester to finish & actually enjoy your time in college!

Not too difficult, if you are a well organised person! In fact a balance , is essential for a happy college life, mix of studies and socialising, for good performance and for maintaining that bit of sanity amidst the studies! It's actually a lot of fun, finding that balance!

i was taking 19-20 credit hours when i was going to college and working 30 hours a week and still had time for fun. not as much as others but it was enough to get by on. but i usually sacrificed my sleep for stuff. i usually only got like 4 -6 hours a night.

I'm getting my masters degree and work 2 jobs -- it is VERY difficult to balance college and social life. I try to cut out things that can comsume my time (for example, buy paper plates so that you can just throw them away and don't have to wash dishes, etc). But, you have to make time for friends and family, you need social support.

if your severe college envisioned an excellent type of you and assigned an excellent type of artwork, you will no longer discover college plenty different. in case you probably did no longer could desire to do plenty artwork in severe college to get stable grades, college could be a complicated adjustment. you will tremendously much incredibly could desire to bypass a minimum of one college point math class to graduate, so start up early - do no longer leave it until the final 365 days, because of the fact in case you fail you could no longer graduate on time. Take remedial training in case you could desire to, get a prepare, and artwork complicated. There are a lot of persons in college; you will discover some people you desire to dangle out with, despite if it takes a on an identical time as to fulfill them.

hmm,
Even with 17 credits, you will have more free time in college than you will ever have for the rest of your life.
Its always difficult to manage time. But if you dont get sloshed everynight (with alcohol) you should be fine! :)
Best of luck!

I believe that you can do it. It's all about prioritizing. You know that work always come before partying. Just set that in your mind and you will be okay.
