When I was younger I used to love watching Disney movies, mostly Sleeping Beauty and Little Mermaid. I also loved watching the Neverending Story and Three Musketeers (that version with Chris O'Donnell that everybody seems to hate).

EDIT: I just had to add this little tidbit. When my brother was between the ages of 3-5 he absolutely loved watching Apollo 13 (even though it was rated PG-13). He actually wore out the VHS version of it, because he watched over and over again SO much. He even wanted to be an astronaut. He is now 12 and I don't think he watches that movie quite so much and I don't think he still wants to be an astronaut. I don't really know what he wants to be now.

...I've always been a fan of the classic Rankin/Bass animated holiday T.V. specials, but back in the mid-to-late 60's, they DID produce a few theatrical feature films.

One patricular favorite of mine, when I was very young, and could watch repeatedly, was the 1966 part animated/part live-action fantasy adventure film, "The Daydreamer"; in the film, a young boy named Chris (revealed later to be the classic fantasy novelist, Hans Christian Anderson), living in Switzerland, draws upon his vivid and creative imagination, and a mystical mentor, named the Sandman, in experiencing lessons in vanity, selfishness, responsibility, devotion and greediness. In the film, with each imagined adventure, the film switches from live-action, to the Rankin/Bass staple of stop motion puppet animation.

All of Hans Christian Anderson's classic children's tales are explored, including "The Little Mermaid", The Emperer's New Clothes", "Thumbelina", "The Ugly Duckling" and others.

...a compelling and well written story, I would watch the film, and quite literally get lost in the tale, as I would imagine myself as Chris, in the midst of his adventures; I candidly admit that even now, at the seasoned age of 44, in revisiting the film, there is still an inking of that young lad within, yearning for those adventures, once again...

...a close second would probably be yet another Rankin/Bass feature film, from 1969, entitled "Mad Monster Party?"; a similar-based film as "The Daydreamer" (though ALL-animated, this time), and a macabre & ghoulish celebration of classic movie monsters, this one is reportedly on the fast-track for a remake...

LOL...I still like to watch the same movies over and over :o)

As a kid (let's say up to the age of 12)...it would be either 'Caddyshack' or 'Meatballs'

As a teenager, I'd go w/ either 'The Breakfast Club' or the Terry Gilliam movie, 'Brazil'

It always switched, but the one I seem to remember the most was the first Superman movie with Christopher Reeve. I'd watch it over and over.
