By normal post! Frankly, you take them to the post office wrapped in parcel paper and just ship them! Call the post office first to see where exactly you have to take them, but at least that is how I sent my stuff to England from Greece when I moved there! Also UPS is an even better choice, and they will take the things from your door and deliver them to your destination door, but you must check the cost of each solution. However, I would prefer UPS if the difference is not too much, because the greek post will not bring the things to your door if they are heavy parcels, you have to go collect them from the post office.

You could get 5 friends to come out with you! May I volunteer to become one of your friends?
Seriously, my daughter lives in the Middle East and came to visit with an empty suitcase and a holdall with only spare knickers & toothbrush - she borrowed T-shirts from me and an another old suitcase. Filled both suitcases with 30Kg of goodies to take back. The excess baggage charge on the second suitcase was £60 a lot of which was paid for by claimed back VAT and paying less in the UK for things than where she is living.
A thought for you for future trips back here to visit friends/family?
Enjoy your new home -

I'm so glad you edited your question .when you said staff I thought what a pompous knob.Book a dirt cheap holiday in Greece for your friends and get them to bring the cases If you think this sounds expensive get a quote from a shipper like fed ex or similiar and compare it to a holiday I saw in Kos one week s/c £94.Maybe leave the stuff at home?Is it valuable/meaningful to you?

'There are a number of British home movers that would also 'take your suitcases (you may wanna google it). Its cheaper to go this way than contact a Greek home mover.
Welcome to Greece!
