some religious groups have decided that the very act of trying to obtain equal rights based on the US Constitution goes against their religious teachings so they have developed a plan to undermine our fight for equal rights. Part of their plan is to say we have an "agenda." They want to demonize our attempts at gaining equality.
I wish they would spend as much time studying the Constitution as they do studying their bible. Then maybe they would atleast understand "seperation of church and state."

woo, good analysis piece!
Well, an agenda is just a plan. I wasn't aware there was one single plan. And I think almost everyone i've met has had an agenda.
I suppose we would have to define truth... which, is subjective because 'truth' is often based on "meaning" in societies and those societies themselves create meaning. Any science that is not unpurposed process is biased science and any truth that comes from that would be biased truth...

"Marriage" as a concept has changed over time and from culture to culture. It hasn't always been 'a man and a woman' some cultures are actually aware of the fact that there are more than two genders (or ability to not identify oneself as a gender) as well as more than two sexes (recognized by the church until about the 14th century when their was a cultural religious shift that began to discriminate against body variations beyond what the preferred to classify as "male" and "female"

There is certainly no such thing as a gay agenda. Oh, and to those who say that gay marriage is part of a gay agenda, you people are just pathetic. there is no law that defines marriage as only one man and one woman, unless you live in one of the states that like to pass unconstitutional laws which violate the separation of church and state, suppress certain people's "pursuit of happiness" and create second class citizens. All religious counter arguments are void, as your religion, it's books and ideas have no bearing on my life. You know what other people wanted to criminalize being gay, Nazis, and that is just what some people sound like who answer some of these questions.

Yes the gay agenda, of coarse that ridiculous idea still exists, we all gather at night time discussing how gay we all are, and how we chose this life style. Is this what you want to hear?.Or do you want to hear the other story, the one where we can convert people.

My agenda is to stop the harm and suffering that hate against ANYONE in the LGBT is causing, but it's not a "gay agenda", though I AM happy... it's more like a BUDDHIST agenda for peace.
It suppresses nothing except hatred, bigotry, suffering, pain, etc.
Wisdom, altruism, compassion... all quite logical.

the only gay agenda i can think of would be achieving equal rights and acceptance/tolerance and a more loving/accepting/peaceful world, but then again, isnt that wat we all want?
and truth, hell if i know, i wasnt aware it was 'surpressing' anything. the only thing i know of being surpressed is equality, and the gay agenda isnt doing that, the conservative right wing agenda is.
lastly...live and let live, thats good, but how bout love and let love? i like that.

There is no gay agenda. That is homophobic propaganda. Every gay person I have ever met merely wanted to have the same rights as everybody else. They are not trying to make your children gay. They simply want fair and equitable treatment.
