I see a lot of posts on QB's without mentioning Brohm. Am I missing something? Granted I am a Louisville fan, but this guy is a true NFL prospect. 6'3, strong arm, great poise, and was a fluke field goal away from playing for an NC last year. The ville returns nearly all it's offense from last year even adding two 4 star RB's and a 6'8 receiver to go with 6'6 Urrutia. They even added speed and a former #1 linebacker in the nation on D. Wouldn't you say the Heisman is his to lose?

swingman: No, the penalty on the Louisville player on the missed attempt, was a fluke. The call was right but how many times do you see that on a field goal attempt. That was my point, no dis-respect to Rugters.

BF: Louisville would have played OSU in the NC had they beaten Rugters and you honestly think they wouldn't have scored against that Buckeye D? lol Your assertion is ridiculous.

You do know OSU would be a cake walk for UofL this year?

xlchump: see above, the player jumping off sides was the fluke, and Louisville would have gone to the NC without a doubt, I think the BCS ratings proved that, but don't let facts get in the way of your opinion.

I have argued Brohm is the best QB in the nation in another question and was shocked how many other QB's were named. The only reason Brohm isn't a heisman candidate is because he plays in an underrated big east. The conference is loaded with good teams. RU, Lville, WVU, and USF are all title contenders and top 25 teams. Pitt and Cincinnati are good bowl teams. UCONN is an improving young team. This conference is great and give Brohm and Louisville credit for winning it last year.

OK you ask why people aren't talking of him right? Well first Louisville only recently joined a BCS/Major Conference. Add to it that they joined the Big East. Ok I am a Pitt fan. The Big East is underrated big time. Point goes that it IS underrated and people who aren't fans of a Big East team don't think much of them. So he is kinda ignored because he is with Louisville and they are in the Big East. If he was with say USC then he would get that Media Attention. Heck if he was with Stanford and doing the same thing he would get all that attention. It is being in the Big East that is what has most over looking him. I think that short time out on injury last year also helped to take away from his attention. So yeah you want my opinion on the Heisman aspect? Right now it is either his to lose, or maybe he is second but I can't tell you who is in front of him.

Scott B. Hmm your last name wouldn't happen to be Brohm would it? How are Browning Nagle, Chris Redman, Dave Ragone, and Stefan LeFors making out in the NFL right now? He also didn't look so hot against Rutgers. No disrespect but, Louisville is not on the same level as Ohio State or Florida. As for the Heisman, Darren McFadden is the frontrunner. Steve Slaton is not too far behind. But Brohm is in the top 6.

Your points make no sense at all. Louisville still wouldnt have gone to national championship even if they had beat Rutgers last season because it still would have been Florida and Ohio St. And the field goal that beat Louisville was NOT a fluke. Your just a bitter loserville fan that still has the sour taste of last year. If you want to argue my point then tell me how the field goal was a fluke. Please tell me.
Addition: I cannot wait until your NC hopes this year get shot away when Kentucky upsets Louisville. Im counting the days.

I agree, from what i hear he's expected to be the front runner for the heisman this year,I think if he had come out this year he would have been the #2 QB selected.

they are asserting brohm's cumin returned in ab 5 weeks, or a minimum of they pronounced tat on television, i don think of they are going to conquer west virgina, yet whilst brohm gets returned b4 the tip of the season and that they win all their video games different than against west v, then they could. yet a minimum of brohm is a junior and could be returned next 365 days
