Its been 4 days and I have not yet got my periods except for the brownish spotting that I got for 3 days as mentioned in my earlier question. Now my vagina is very itchy. No pain while passing urine. Generally after my periods it is a bit dry there but never anything like this. Any response will be highly appreciated.

Hello everybody,

Thanks for the response.

I don't have any other symptoms except for occasional itching. Today I am 5 days late and haven't got my periods yet except for the brownish spotting that I observed for 3 days.
I have made an appointment with an Gyn. Should I take another HPT since the first one that I took on the 3rd was negative.
Thanks for all the responses.

So, I suspect your 4 days late? Do you have any other symptoms? Is there a smell to your discharge?
I would make an apt. with your doc. & get checked-out & get some test run. Anyone giving you advice on this site is just guessing. Don't leave your health to yahoo answers.

You might have a bladder infection, which isn't anything really serious. I used to have it for 2 years and it resulted in itching there. I used to put petroleum jelly around there and it worked pretty well. It might not be a bladder infection but it can work even if thats not what it is. Also, when you are on your period, buy some clean wipes and at least every day during the day, clean there. I have the same thing when I on my periods.

That definately sounds like thrush, in the uk you can get a pessary called caneston which you can get from the doctor or at the pharmacy, live yogurt helps soothe the itching too, if this doesnt help your gp may take a swab to see if you have another type of infection. good luck x

You should go to gynecologist. Gynecologist will probably take your vaginal discharge and take it to labs, where they will estimate what exactly this is.
Also, during the first stages of pregnancy, a lot of women spot brown, so in either case you should go to a gynecologist.

You definately have crabs. You should stay away from the beach to avoid catching more and refrain from sexual relations. If that doesnt help contact a doctor immediately.

Maybe there's an infection up there? Discharge and itching usually points to such. Try washing it more thoroughly :)
