I mean if there is a physical reason why one of them cant make love. Surely it is still a true relationship, because sex doesnt make the whole of a partnership.

Yes, I believe so. Sex is just part of intimacy between a couple. There are many other ways a couple can be intimate without sex. And Relationship should be build on true love, not sex.

No they can't. The answer was contained in your question, when you said "a full relationship". They can certainly share a deep, happy, engaging relationship; but I don't think any relationship between man and woman is complete without sex.

My Little sister was married to her husband for 39years before he died of diabetes 2 years ago at 53 she was 51. The last 14 years he was impotent. She and he made it OK. She told me it was difficult at times ,but she loved him very much.
