If you believe in the The First Law of Thermodynamics, ol mother keeps her goods in tact, gravity being the force that rips those stray quanta back in during the big crush.

Mother universe does keep very good track of her lil' quanta's, but ah, just as us human mothers know, every now and then a few will run a stray, and get sucked into nothingness. No need to fret though, Mother Universe quickly retrieves them back into the fold!

The quanta go wither they wish. Clustering as they see fit. Mother universe wishing them on their way until one day, they return to begin anew.
