However i just cannt seem to save the film to disc, have I got the right discs? Please explain in laymens terms as I get lost with too much technical detail.

you need to convert the files u downloaded before u can burn them to disk.they are probably .avi files.go to computeractive.co.uk and download a program called divxtodvd.this is free and will convert the .avi file to the vts files and then you can burn them to dvd.

You have the right discs. That is not the problem. What are you using to burn them to disc? You should be using Nero. When you do choose the 'create data dvd' option. Then just select a movie to burn to the disc and presto! Good luck!
