In a chemistry experiment, a solution of hydrolic acid is to be kept between 30 degrees C and 35 degrees C, that is C is greater than or equal to 30 and less than or equal to 35.

What is the range in temperature in degrees F if the C-F conversion formula is:

C = 5/9(F-32)

pls put or explain the solution...
pls help me...

c=5/9(f-32)
Case 1
30 =5/9(f-32)
30*9/5=f-32
54=f-32
f=86

Case 2
35 =5/9(f-32)
35*9/5 =f-32
63=f-32
f=97

Temerature in f = grater then equal to 86 less then equal to 97

when you ususally convert degree celcius to farenheit the formula is

F = (C + 32)* 9/5
CASE 1
F = ( 30 + 32) * 9/5
F = 62 * 9/5
F = 12.4 * 9 = 111.6 F

Case 2
F = (35 +32) *9/5 = 67*9/5 = 13.4 * 9 = 120.6 F

ANSWER : temprature is greater or equal to 111.6 F and lesser or equal t o120.6 F

C=5/9(F-32)
multiply by 9 both sides

9C= 5F-32*5 divide by 5
9/5C = F-32 and 9/5 =1.8

So F =1.8C+32

for 30°C F = 32+1.8*30 = 86F
for 35°C F = 32+1.8*35 = 95F

the range is 86

given C=30
30=5/9(F-32)
30x9/5=F-32
6x9=F-32
54+32=86=F
given C=35
35=5/9(f-32)
35x9/5=F-32
(7x9)+32=F
63+32=F
95=F
thus range=86 to 95 degree F

just use the formula
c/(f-32)=5/9
f-32=9C/5

so just substitute the 30 C and 35 C to the formula and you get the answer.

hope can help u...
