anyone know of a good hotel near London's Victoria train Station.?

I am travelling in to London and want to know if there is any hotels near to London's Liverpool Victoria Train Station.

Also dose the train station have places to leave Luggage as we want to see a few of the sites before we head down to Harwich.

The Thistle Hotel chain is very good and they have a hotel at the Victoria Station. However there are several good hotels in that area too.

Train stations, just as airports, have removed luggage lockers for security reasons. You need to leave luggage at a hotel instead. Most will store your luggage even if you are not staying there for a very small fee and tip.

If you mean Liverpool Street, then believe it or not the Travelodge just a few minutes walk from the station is actually pretty nice (I stayed there last month) - the rooms are clean and the staff are polite. It isn't exactly fancy, but it is convenient and inexpensive.

I know that London Victoria has a place to leave bags (although it is slightly expensive) so I'm guessing that Liverpool Street will as well, since it is a fairly big station.

Victoria Station or Liverpool Street station ?

Liverpool Victoria is an Insurance company.!

As you mention Harwich my guess is Liverpool Street is the one you want.

if what you meant was Victoria train station, Sidney hotel is not bad, just minutes walk from the station.

You can find more choices at reserve-hotel where I booked my room some time ago.

There are plenty of hotels to choose from, but your best bet is probably the Park Plaza Victoria London ( http://www.resideo.com/gb/london/61658952.hotel ) -- you can read more about the hotel, view pics, check rooms/rates & book online at the link.

It's .12 miles from Victoria Station!
