Say in 50 years time virtual reality sets ar emade available to the public for only £120.00
Would you buy one and if so what would be your virtual experience?

I wouldn't have any english pounds to buy one with. Hopefully by then england will be paved as a parking lot for a shopping mall in Scotland. But yes, I'd buy one in a second.

WIth so many things that people engage in to escape reality, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. To live in fantasy or virtuality though, is a route to suffering. The person would very much become similar to an autistic person eventually losing their ability to interact with others in preference to the virtual world that would provide everything without the difficulties of human interaction.
