Bush already did that by attending Islamic religious services and doing business with the bin Laden family.

Because they would learn the hard way Al Qaeda does not want peace when you don't agree with what they are trying to accomplish.

That and they can't afford the ticket to go where Al Qaeda is.

Most people calling for peace are not calling for peace with Al Qaeda. We want our troops out of Iraq. Has Bush declared peace with bin laden? Hmmmm almsot 6 years now, how is that seach going.

YOU better start reading the papers, kid. Iraq is a CIVIL WAR among Shiites and Sunnis and Kurds.

The peace movement is about getting our soldiers out of harms way, because the combatants don't wear uniforms and our troops DO.

We're losing more than a hundred soldiers a month, for NOTHING> time to bring back our troops!

There have been a few attempts to do similar things. With no success. Like when Nancy Pelosi visited Syria recently. What I don't understand is why they don't smarten up when their plan fails.

Yeah, peace is such an awful thing to want.

"Peace movement." LOL, like it's some subversive plot or something.

We can control our government. We cannot control what other people do. That's a lesson Bush is learning the hard way, at the cost of thousands of American lives.
