why do men do this?

why do people that claim to be my husbands friends always hit on me and feel the need to tell me they want to be with me?

They're normal human males, you are sexually attractive to them, and they aren't overtly afraid of your husband. Obviously, they agree with your husband's choice in women.

If you still want to be with your husband and he still wants to be with you, simply keep telling these guys "no", think of it as a compliment, consider mentioning it to your husband, and keep on living.

If your husband is a "properly" socialized male into possessive monogamy then he will probably react with jealousy and mate-guarding behavior depending on how sexy HE thinks you look and how socialized he thinks you are. If it really bothers him and you tell him, he'll probably take care of it himself.

Men do this because testosterone raises sexual interest and aggressiveness and from puberty until death testosterone goes sky high and stays there. Socialization and training, especially religious training, enhances the ability for men to cognitively resist their natural tendencies but many are incompletely socialized or see the risk-times-cost-to-benefit-ratio as favorable and therefore openly seek non-monogamous sex....

maybe you are flirting and not realizing it. How do you dress around other men. If it's revealing, you are going to get some attention from other men. Men are very visual and like to look. If you are a very pretty woman, you must realize that men will look at you and perhaps make comments they shouldn't. Let your husband know what's going on and decide what is the best thing to do.

A true friend would never hit on his friends wife. I don't care how attractive or sexy she is. That just goes against everything in the player handbook. I've had many attractive women and my friends have had many attractive women. Sometimes they might wear something eye catching or provocative but because it's my friends girl I'll glance and move on because that's just wrong anyway you look at it...In my humble opinion.

This behavior is unexceptable for so-called friends. You should probably let it slide the first time and accept it as a compliment. The next time you would do well to let that person know how uncomfortable you feel when they say things like that. If that doesn't deter them, then your only recourse is to inform your husband.
He needs to know that he can't leave these pigs around his wife with out his presence...just as you would not leave your wallet around a thief.

They don't sound like very good friends to me. Be careful what you say and do around them. If it gets out of hand you should tell your husband. He thinks these are his friends.

there are guys out there that have no respect for a married woman. and they are always looking to see if your willing to cheat on your hubby. and if your have a fun personalty then your are more likely to fun guys hitting on you.
