NO it doesn't matter. It's all in what you believe in. Different strokes for different folks. What's beautiful to you may not always be beautiful to the next person. There is no right or wrong answer about beauty because it's in the eyes of the beholder.

The point is, it doesn't matter. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This differs from what is popular, or what is used to convince people what is more or less beautiful in order to get them to buy something. But still, beauty is different for everyone and that is normal, aside from being the way it will always be.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. In other words what is beautiful to one person, may not be to another. Most of us agree that a colorful sunset is beautiful. However, there are many scenes some find beauty in and others do not. The fact that there are some things that most agree is beautiful and many others that we don't agree on demonstrates that beauty is something very subjective.

Scientifically there is a mathematical process called the Golden Mean (more specifically the Golden Ratio) that applies to all things beautiful! You can apply it to human faces of ANY RACE or even cars. When it comes down to it it is a personal preference but just like in music there IS a Science behind it. One website even has a graph you can make to put over your face to see how beautiful you are by this standard. Interesting stuff. Not alot of people know about.

Google Golden Ratio or something...

People have different tastes...and if one person thinks something is beautiful and another one doesn't, they're both right because it's based upon a personal opinion...not everybody's perception is the same...
And it doesn't really matter...to each his/her own...
Think of how difficult some things would be if everybody had the same opinion of beauty...

I think it's the heart and soul, but we all have different viewpoints on this - and - ultimately, it is up to that person making the "judgment." In art, it is what appeals to you in a variety of senses, and again, why is there any disagreement in such a personal outlook.
