I really have no other passion in life other than acting! I cannot imagine doing anything else; and yet, I should probably have a university degree in case. What should I do?
And... If I get a degree? What should I choose? Everything is simply blase!

Why not do both? Many Universities offer majors in Theatre or film studies. You can double major or minor in it... If you think about it, to be a successful actor, you should be a smart business person. Why not major in business? You have to be able to market yourself, you have to be able to handle your finances, you may have your own production company someday! There are plenty of things you can major in that will help you in your acting career down the line. Economics, business.... look at the big picture! Choose a school with a film school or theatre department that will make use of your talents. Stay in school, but stay with acting as well ;-)

Definately continue into college and go for Theatre Arts.
At the same time, take outside acting lessons with a
professional who's worked in the field a lot and get your
head shots and name out there. You need momentum
in the business and have to be prepared to accept jobs
when they're offered, so keep this in mind re your school
schedules. You can always teach acting and theatre arts
but now, depending on the university, there are so many
classes in every aspect of the film business. Perhaps
one of those.

I went to a University to study acting. You can do what you love and get your degree. A B.A. is a B.A. is a B.A. You could get a BFA in acting at a lot of universities. I went to Northern Illinois University and they have a BFA program. A pretty good one. Joan Allen went there as well.

The question here is whether you ever want a decent job or bust tables for the rest of your life.
Go to University; get a job. Then you can act part time.

i think its aloways good that you follow your atmost passion.because man is always best where his or her greatest passion is..well university education is really good but remenber that time never waits for you. so better concetrate on what you really love most
