Global warming, health care and oil prices are all very good issues to deal with. But we do have a more pressing issue at hand.
I must agree with Rudy Giuliani that the Dems are indeed living in the nineties. I would even say that the Dems are living in a Sept. 10, 2001 world.
Terrorism exists, whether you like it or not, Dems.
There are a bunch of people who are out there who want to kill us regardless of political affiliation. You would do well to keep that in mind. There's this huge 16 acre hole in lower Manhattan that could attest to that.
And FYI, these people hated us LONG BEFORE this stupid Iraq war.
Bash me if you must because of my question and comments but it is the sincere truth: Republicans take terrorism more seriously then Democrats.

I agree. Terrorism must be addressed. It cannot be ignored or it will kill you. Terrorism is like a cancer, untreated it will grow and spread until you are too weak to defeat it.
Kind of like socialism.

Acknowledgement of the fact is not the primary issue...how to deal with terrorism is the one that needs addressing. In watching the debate last night...and the Dems the week before...I was frustrated at the lack of commitment to action by both sides. Bringing up 9/11 seems to be enough to elicit support...but to intelligent viewers and voters, there is a desperate need for someone to stand up and state their plan on how they will deal with terrorism going forward. Its just not enough to say that it exists...we need to know who and how the free world will be protected!!

Rudy Guiliani is the ultimate exploiter of the events of 9/11. He wouldn't have a campaign without it.
Did you know that after the first WTC bombing in 1993, Guiliani was told to move the city's Emergency Response Center OUT of the WTC complex to a site in Brooklyn?
Do You know where the emergency response center was on 9/11?
That's right, in the basement of the WTC.
Do you want to know where the city's Emergency Response Center is now?
you guessed it...Brooklyn.
Rudy is in no postion to say he takes terrorism more seriously than anyone.

There were some survivors, but they weren't the jumpers. They were the people below the 93rd floor (Where the plane hit) that were able to live. And no they didn't commit suicide by jumping that's ridiculous. They just simply chose to die by jumping off, rather than a fire.

Simply wrong. Democrats know that terror exists and take it very seriously. The difference is that we view what this president has done to supposedly fight terror, as extremely flawed. Ports are wide open, and borders are not much better. In the mean time we are fighting a war that has nothing to do with terrorism.

Terrorism has always existed, it just never effected us.....
You have to admit even tho' America was not anyones favorite , that the damage done to our reputation by the Iraq war is almost irreparable

So, what happened to those funds set aside to rebuild the towers, or a monument? Yeah, we have a harder time rebuilding our own country, than we do rebuilding Iraq. Nice reality, right? I wish the GOP took american lives as seriously as they took terrorism...I wish they cared as much about our own people as they do about the Iraqi people (oh yeah, they had NOTHING to do with 9/11). And you can give me a thumbs down all you want..the truth of the matter remains
Oh, and letting Bin Laden go is a good way to pay attention to Al Qaeda? You guys are kidding yourselves. Your rhetoric no longer holds water...try some plans that actually WORK!!!!!!!!

I don't need you or Rudy to remind me about 9/11. God that's arrogant and condescending.

Preach it brother. All you have to do is open your eyes and notice that big pink elephant which is the fact that 9/11 was a reality that can't be ignored today. Well said.
