Going with the dictionary on this one...I'd expect it to be "intended to be amusingly vulgar, especially in sexual innuendo". Either that or the other meaning "impudent, showing a lack of respect".
If I had to name a puppet show I thought was "Saucy", I'd say Punch and Judy without a doubt.
Here in Seattle, if I wanted to see "Saucy" puppet shows, I'd go to "Drunk Puppet Nite" at the Rebar.
In other places, I've heard them called "Puppet Slams". At the festival in July, they are doing a Puppet Slam. Described: "Jean Marie Keevins of Cat's Paw Collective will host the bawdy, immoral, politically incorrect, utterly immature, gross or just plain hilarious late night of wild vignettes"
