Not a racist either , however i don't love everybody either.
Love is that which should and must be earned.
Black is used as an subliminal negative connotation.
Blackmail - Black male.
Blacklist - not allowed ,wanted and blocked.
Black - the absence of light.
Black hearted - not a good person, evil.
Black as sin - Evil one.
Black Lung - a disease of the lungs
Black Plaque - A pestilent disease.
Now
Black people - ?????????
Don't like the word Black and never did, especially when it is applied to people. There is truly no such a thing as Black people nor white people for that matter.
One race, the human race.

From Wikipedia: François Bernier developed a racial classification system in his New division of Earth by the different species or races which inhabit it. He declared in this paper that Native Americans, North Africans and South Asians have little physical disimilarities from Europeans other than their dark skin. He is counted as one of the first anthropologists to specify race using physical characteristics.

Good questioned black people come in all different shade, as does any race. Why is the Native American called the “Red” Man, Asians considered “yellow” . I’m mixed race and lighter or just as light as some "white" people I’ve come across.

Blacks are now being called African American if they are in the U.S.
whites are being called Caucasians
Mexicans are being thrown in with Porto ricans,Cubans, etc. and being called Latin American or Hispanic.
but they were called black because Mexicans where considered to be brown. Asians yellow and whites where anyone who had no tan that was way back in the 40's though and some still to this day call everyone that too. oh and reds where American Indians.

This term came from the days of slavery, when the Spanish [major traders of slaves] referred to Africans as ***** [Spanish for, "black"], later used by early America and converted into what we now know as the N-bomb or simply colored. Society demanded a more politically correct way to identify someone of African descent, so now we use one of two means of doing so, black or African American. Black being taken from the literal translation of "*****".

I was actually reading about this earlier today. Here's a link you might find interesting. It tells the history of using "black" as a race classification.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_(people)
EDIT
Tyrone M: "*****" is not "black" in spanish! It's "negra". You can't rely on www.freetranslation.com to always give you accurate translations!

If you look in the dictionary, black means void of all good, evil. I think they were trying to instill the idea that they were subhuman and kind of devilish. White has always been seen in the subconcious as good and heavenly. On TV, aren't angels always wearing white? When they want to show someone evil they are usually dressed in black or red. It's all psychological. This was how these fake southern Christians were trying to justify slavery.

for the duration of the 60s and 70s black human beings took fee of ways they have been to be considered and stated as...they embraced their dermis shade from easy to the internal maximum, darkest brown which looks black..they desperate to now no longer enable others to make black gruesome or unfavourable...they equated blackness to the richness of the Earth and the place existence began in Africa..the evening the place peace and relax is attained, to velvet as quickly as purely worn with the aid of the wealthy...and whilst a organisation is doing nicely, it fairly is seen in the black...they made it their very own b/c others had categorized and libeled them too long.

IM NOT BLACK SKINNED EVEN IF IM AFRICAN AND SOME PEOPLE DUMBLY ASSUME THAT ALL AFRICANS ARE BLACK SKINNED LOL... IM ACTUALLY LIGHT BROWN SKINNED. LOOK AT MY 360 PAGE FOR PICS. I GUESS PEOPLE JUST USE THE WORD "BLACK" TO DESCRIBE THE AFRICAN RACE, JUST LIKE "WHITE" DESCRIBES THE CAUCASIAN RACE. ANYWAY ITS A LITTLE TOO LATE TO CHANGE THESE TERMS.
