No one and the argument is a very naive one. Sounds to me like far left liberal propaganda. If you would leave Iraq it would show to the Al Queda that they are winning the war and they would intensify their campaign for what they believe in. Maybe even take their campaign into our own nation and the nations of our allies.

If we leave Iraq Al Qaeda is not going away. But if we stay in Iraq Al Qaeda is not going away. Iraq is NOT and has never been the base of operations for Al Qaeda.
We are not fighting the people who planned and executed 9/11 in Iraq. We are fighting their New Recruits. Whole groups that did not exists under the previous rule of a harsh dictator.
So I agree with you that we have to stay in Iraq, but the reason we have to stay there is because we created this new Al Qaeda training ground.
Meanwhile the group that planned 9/11 is off in Pakistan or Afghanistan continuing to plan against the US while we trapped in a vicious cycle in Iraq.

Ridiculous question. I guess you assume that Iraq has something to do with Al Queda? The GOP has a live one here, they're just realing you in. You'll believe anyhting they say huh?

Most people are of the opinion that if we leave or minimize our operation in Iraq, we'll have more capability and flexibility to fight Al Queda and other terrorist organizations.

To think Al Queda is primarily in Iraq is just dumb. Of course there is now a faction there fighting us, but assuming the iraq war is solving an Al Queda problem is dangerous and short sighted. We're fighting ourselves into a stale mate in Iraq. There's no millitary solution for us and that's what Bush doesn't get.

Al Qaida existed before Iraq and will exist after we leave.

But what should we expect out of the Middle East? Through the course of human history, who has killed the most Arabs/Muslims? Fellow Arabs and Muslims.

We could leave Iraq tomorrow and the feuding between the Sunnis and Shiites and with each faction would continue. The biggest thing I can fault Bush for is believing he could somehow end this cycle of violence. There is going to be no peace in the Middle East until they learn to put their petty differences aside and live like civilized individuals.

Common sense goes a long way. Terrorist are cowards, they will not face our Marines or even the average American in a fight. Cowards do the dirty work behind our backs. Just like Nam. The real "war on Terror" is in Lebanon and Afganastan not in Iraq. Everyone knows that except. you, Rush and Bush and Cheney... In the end no matter what we do in Iraq and no matter how many die in Iraq, Iran will control Iraq...

Al Qaeda will probably hate us a long time whether we leave now or stay in Iraq. Even if we stay for another 10 years we'll have to leave Iraq eventually and we would still have to watch our backs!

George Bush.

"Let's leave Afghanistan, and invade Iraq. What's the worst that could happen? A long lasting war that draws Al Qaeda out of their turf where we are winning? Naaaah."

The liberals continue to live in a dream world. To them, we only need to just be nice and the terrorist and they will leave us alone.
