my camera is kodak DX4530. I inserted the memory card into my card reader it says that it should be format, but then my pictures are all there. how can i retrieve my pictures before the formatting procedure takes place? im so desperate to get my pictures from it. please help me find out answers and please help me retreve pictures from it. please.. im so so so desperate.. i need my pictures so badly.. please... i need your response and hopefully we can make things work out. i really really need my files from it. please... m begging you.. please.... what else can i do?? please help me..

Put the memory card back into your camera and plug the camera into the computer with it's usb cable and retrieve them that way. If you don't have a usb cable then you can get one here for cheap:

Well, If you connect your camera to your computer with the USB cord, the pictures should show up. Take them, by copy & paste, then put them on your computer so they will be saved. Format your card. You should have done it as soon as you bought it.... Well anyway, that should work.

I assumed that you cant read the content ? hence the 'format' message whenever you insert the card ?
