The most recent one I've had was about a week ago. My hubby was amputating my dog's back leg, and I was holding her in my arms whilst she whined and screamed in terrible pain. I woke up, and couldn't go back to sleep after that... You better believe I made sure she was okay next to me on the floor. When morning rolled around I held her for the longest time and almost cried...

Worst recurring nightmare: for years I dreamed I was running for my life through a crowd of people. I was always trying to protect a bundle I was carrying. It seemed the people in the crowd were always trying to take it away from me.
Every night I ran, carried and protected my "parcel". I would wake up exhausted, scared and drenched in sweat. This dream was a part of my life for about 10 years. Thankfully, no more.

When I was pregnant I had some prizewinners, usually something along the lines of, something horrible is happening to the baby and although I am powerless to stop it, it's still my fault. I used to wake up screaming.
So fun. Glad that stage of my life is over.

i dreamt of devils, they are everywhere in the world, n i saw a few of them hanging my friend near a temple, everything around me was dark, everyone looks weird tho some of them offered me ways to help my friend out of the devil,i was still frightened. then i suddenly woke up, it was 2.30am n i was too scared to go back sleep, everything in the dream was too lively. i felt lonely, scared n needed someone to talk to but there was no one cuz i lived alone. i stayed up till 6am then go back to sleep. 9am i had to wake up to work tho.
perhaps the nitemare somehow reflected my real life?

all my nightmares usually scare me too much to go back to sleep right away
but I had this weird one that wasn't really scary but it just creeped me out
every about 20 seconds, I'd hear this "drip draup" noise, and everytime I did I had like, this mini panic attack, so scared I couldn't move
it was freaky

I used to have nightmares that were just shades of black and gray kind of moving around. They were sheer terror and they would propel me out of my bed and make me run out of the house in my sleep.
