It's would be like... millions of dollars.

The answer is yes. You can get almost ANYTHING in this world with enough money. I would suggest though you hire 3 different workers to come up with the best result for your pearl.
1. A person who can draw the ship with a see through top, left, right, back, and front view etc.
2. A company to do nothing exept build the wooden ship, plain, tan wood to the model of the drawing.
3. A decorative crew to finish the job! This would be the crew that provides the Skull and Cross bone flags, the black oil and crew mops for the grungy deck, torn black sails etc.
4. Have fun! (I don't recommend sailing with an exact model of the Black Pearl ship. You would be spending well over 500,000 dollars for a ship that probably wont sail. The Black Pearl in the movie was fictional and therefore Hollywood took its Q and made alot of impossibles possible.
Hope I helped!

In the last month or so Isaw a show on the History channel here in the US. It was about the construction of a replica of the ship that brought the original Jamestown immigrants to America from Britan a shipyard in Rockport, Maine.
It talked about how hard it was to even research the plans for the ship, and the construction process.
If I remember, it cost a lot, took several years but I reccomend that you check it out.
There is a free five minute video on the process at:
http://www.history.com/media.do?id=soh_jamestown_godspeed_broadband&action=clip
I am sure you can get more information there..
You might also try the Studio that made the film..

I'm a yacht builder/shipwright in the West Indies, and had friends work on the Black Pearl when they were filming down in St Lucia........so an actual life sized ready to sail the seas Black Pearl?
Piece of cake. I know how to assemble the crew of shipwrights and sail makers and riggers and where to source the timber and all of that stuff.
I wouldn't touch the project without a $10 million US budget however, and a down payment of say 250,000 just to do the budget...
go see the replica of the Golden Hinde as the other poster suggested and get feel for the real thing..

Is building a replica of the Titanic possible? That depends on how exact the replica needs to be. I am sure the original drawings are lost. Yes it would be easy to make a ship that just looks like the Titanic, if even money was spent.

I like pirate ships and all that swashbuckling stuff. In london they have a life size replica of the "golden hind" francis drakes ship who was a privateer or pirate and when you walk around it its cool you can imagine being on the high seas and the only comfy bit of the ship is at the back in the captains quarters where the candle would burn while looking at navigation maps and stuff drinking rum .
