none. no dirt id a hole.

If you dig a hole 3 ft x 3ft x 3ft, the dirt you remove will be equal to 27 cubic ft, or 1 cubic yard. After the dirt is removed, there will be no dirt in the hole.

There is no dirt in a hole. That is why it is a hole-a hollowed out place.

Once you dig and remove the dirt it become a hole and a hole is empty.
3x3x3=27 cubic feet of dirt was in the hole............OR..........1 cubic yard
