I have spoken with many friends who are Democrats and I have also heard Democrat leaders speak in favor of our progress in Iraq. They also see the need to continue our efforts in order to stabilize that country not only for the sake of the Iraqis, but for our own safety. I realize that most Democrat leaders speak against the war. Why do so many Democrats on Yahoo make it sound like it is absolutely the Republicans against the Democrats when that simply is not the case? Are they using this as a means to further the divide between two political parties and create ill feelings and aggression between the people?

I agree, I live in Northern California and know several Democrats that support the war. They also know the reasons why are troops are in Iraq. The group that is against the war is the media.
