there is only one thing that you need to keep in mind. it has helped me throughout every single tragedy that i have been through.

just remember that you will make it through this rough patch and that one day you will look back and say, "wow, why did that event have such a negative effect on me?"

you just need to visualize yourself past all of the engative things currently in your life. once you grab hold of that hope and know that whatever is going on will eventually pass, and that you'll be ok, it just makes you feel a little bit better.

the other thing you need to remember is that there will be negative things happening in the world regardless of your actions. wars will be waged, people will die, bad things happen. that's a part of life. it should make you look at the positive things in the world and be more thankful for them.

good luck!

1. Always be true to yourself.
2. You don't have to please everyone.
3. Accepting that nobody is perfect even you ;)
4. You don't have to "keep up with the Joneses", i.e. money doesn't buy happiness.
5. No matter how bad you think your life is going, there are others worse off than you.
6. Never underestimate the power of smiling at other people. They see you smile, they smile back and possibly talk to you and cheer you up.
7. If you live a busy life, make an appointment or save some time just for yourself to relax.
8. You don't always have to be right.
9. And get enough sleep where you feel rejuvenated. Lack of sleep can make you feel cranky, annoyed and therefore the world sucks, haha.
10. Have fun. Yeah sounds simple but I feel people sometimes forget.

1. Treat others as you would like them to treat you-even if they don't
2. Do not seek revenge if wronged, there is a higher authority that they will have to answer to who knows their guilt
3. Lead by example, let your children see you can walk the walk as well as talk.
4. Know that no one was promised an easy life, bad things happen sometimes, we can't change the situations, only our responses to them.
5. Having a sense of humor is one of the most important coping mechanisms in life. Faith in God is the other.
6. Be curious about the world, explore hobbies, find your passions and feed them, then share that knowledge with others..
7. Replenish yourself and guard against burning out, you can not help others if there's nothing left in you.
8 Do not get discouraged, sometimes all you need to succeed is the belief that you can, tough times never last but tough people do!
9. Always remember that the same God that made you made everyone else and God doesn't make mistakes, so treat all with the same level of respect.
10. Listen to the concerns of children, friends, co-workers etc, sometimes just being there is an enormous help.
