Q5 Is it wrong to hate your wife?

Now, i have this wife, shes smart, beautiful, but the problem here is; she studied Psychology. And, we all know what happens when a woman is old enough to be your mother, and most probably studied Psychology as well as some other BS, is that she is going to use what she has against you. As well, as witholding her love e.g. kisses.

Now, this girl whatever she is, has known me for a long time, but i've been what you could consider jail bait, im a good looking guy (some would consider a heart throb - what she loves to call the younger Johnny Depp). Now, even though i posses the smarts on the rare odd occasion, lets face it im NO genius. Even though i like to sympathise with Malcolm in "Malcolm In the Middle".

The question here is folks (and maybe my old lady too, not that one!); should i dislike my wife from loving and devoted to down one notch to "like" because i found out that her mental abuse she had put me through was all for her own pleasure

I too understand from a previous failed marriage, that her being the older woman can have its disadvantages, for example, she may (and is more likely to) think that she has the right to control you, and be a control-freak. That unfortunately will need to change when you two are together, if it doesnt then she knows where the door is, and speaking on my second marriage, son, it hurts, but its the best decision a man could ever make.

If your in a situation where your not getting what you want, then its like, all your doing is serving this creature. What you need to do is: sort her out (and if your good at giving loving care then by all means use it) Then once she has been given a good seeing to, then comes the joyful part - sorting yourself out! (wink wink).

What you need to do; is just love her, i know she acts immature and childish especially with the games, but dont let it bother you. She needs you more than you need her, because she uses these silly tactics to illicit fear from you.
Dont worry i'll email you what i mean, brother.

Just dont give up, keep strong brother, give her and yourself a little faith, and most importantly never leave her twisting in the wind,. She sounds like she needs you because she has had a bad life, and she needs repairing like an old disused Ford Mustang. How i cherished those beautiful black horses!

Make her be the once brave warrior she was. She's met her match, and she knows it!

If she is older and has acquired more knowledge I could see how she would begin to seem more like a mother than a wife. It might not be that you too arent compatible, there is a gap there because she has grown more than you have mentally. Obviously she knew this before marriage. She has to give you room to grow and make mistakes. She may feel like she has to "watch over you" because she feels she has the upper hand.

You said you look like Johnny Depp...uh hem, well I could see how she is willing to overlook some things. lol! No seriously, it can work with you gus but she has to know when to let go. She cant be your wife/mother. Just express to her how you feel and if it continues to get worse, then consider being with someone within your own range.

The fact is, you got an older woman (strike 1) your probabbly young and men are not as mature as women (strike 2) She treats you like a kid, you resent it. (strike 3)
It all comes down to, you shouldn't have gotten married, it will always be this way until you take a firm stand (and probabbly grow up)
You feel the way you feel. You don't select it. Smart and bueaty aren't all that. You must find a woman attractive, and EQUAL and love her.

ok now your question makes no sense to me,but i will try to answer the best i can decipher. it seems like you're in a relationship w/an older woman since yo call yourself jailbait. it may be that she just tooooooooo mature for and more intectual and you AND your huge ego can't deal with it "mr. depp". you need to be able to accept that she's older,mature ,and wiser than you are or go and find yourself some young chicken head who you're smarter than just to give your ego a boost. grow up!

Well fella, you sat there and took her abuse like a man. It does not really matter that she liked it, the point is that you let her do it to you. When you let someone treat you like crap there is not a lot of room to complain about it now. You should have told her to check herself when she was being mean to you and put a stop to it then. By not doing anything you gave her permission to treat you like dirt. Why would you let your wife abuse you? Why?

Gosh, you do rate yourself a bit don't you? You don't say you love your wife. I feel (after reading your ramblings) that you are feeling insecure and inferior to your wife. C'mon man, she obviously doesn't treat you badly, she compliments your looks etc. You certainly don't seem to like her much. Don't mistake her intelligence for mockery, bring yourself up to her level and try to find common ground. Grow up! Stop feeling sorry for yourself and put some effort into your marriage.
