To Bill B that answered the question - about his worst movie - I think that would have to be Only the Lonely - with Maureen O'Hara and Ally Sheedy - - DUMB DUMB DUMB

OMG! I miss John Candy! He was soooo funny! Sometimes he didn't really have to even say anything funny, he could just give a look and it would make me crack up.

My favorite was Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and my hubby's favorite is Uncle Buck. Yep we are John Candy fans. I laugh so hard even still when I watch those movies, Oh Yea, Stripes, theres another all time hysterical one with John Candy and Bill Murray. What a classic.

It's a toss up between Spaceballs and Uncle Buck. I was watching a movie the other day and he had a small bit part in it. I always forget he's in that movie because the part is so small and now I can't remember what movie it was. Guess what I'll be wondering about all day now?!?!

I didn't care too much for his movies...but whatever movie he was in, he made it great, even the worst of movies...even 'Speed Zone'. SCTV was the greatest show and how I like to remember him. I loved John Candy's characters: Johnny LaRue, William B. Williams, Dr. Tongue...classic!

That's hard...I like "Spaceballs", he was great as Barf. I also enjoyed his sarcasm in "Uncle Buck", but I still think my favorite is "The Great Outdoors" - there's so many quotes from that I movie that I still say daily.
