If say we wanted to turn the world into paradise how would you think this might be achievable? is it a case of lead by example?

1) First you would have to have the world agree on what it means by paradise.
2) We would all have to then agree that it was worth sacrificing for - for nothing worth having comes without work and sacrifice.
3) We would all have to agree to stop judging each other and spend more time working on perfecting ourselves. It is in changing ourselves that we change the world. This is critical as much of the world's conflicts revolve around attempts to correct the "errors" and flaws we perceive in others.

The first problem in making this possible is trying to get agreement on what paradise would look like. For some paradise would look like a library, for others it may look like a carefree party.

If we did agree, I think leading by example would be the best way to start, then reaching out and helping others gain paradise in their own lives.

Paradise, or as spoken of in the Scriptures, the Kingdom of God, starts within each person. It's all there, just a matter of awakening it within, at which point it spreads outward into the world as we express ourselves in everything that we do. However, the reality is, and this is mentioned in Scripture too, the world is infected by evil, as are many people, too many, so you won't see paradise on earth until evil and all its cronies are finally done away with (coming soon to a theater near you!).

Paradise is a man made concept so I say "NAY" to every answer that removes man from the equation. Second it is already paradise you just have to look at it from the perspective as a whole unit. "I" am a whole unit but if you were to study me under a powerful microscope there are bacteria having life and death struggles all over my body.

No, it's a case of exterminate the humans. Without mankind the planet would be a paradise. But then, how would I enjoy that paradise?

Simply get every human to follow the guidelines God left for us in the Bible and try to heal the earth from the damage humans caused. That should do it. The only problem left is finding a cure for human imperfection. No sarcasm here.

it is beyond our power, as humans, to ever create paradise on earth. we are too flawed, no matter how much we strive to gain "perfection." at one point, there was paradise on earth, but it was US humans that ruined it.

Jesus spoke about His kingdom being paradise, and i believe that is the only paradise that we are capable of seeing.

I don't think it will ever happen, in large part because people have a tendency to blame others for their problems, rather than looking inward, i.e., people have their own (internal) issues that cause them problems in their lives, but they're not aware of them - instead, they look outside themselves for someone else to blame - something else to "fix." Naturally, if the thing that needs to be "fixed" is you, "fixing" someone / something else outside of you isn't going to do the trick!

The best bet is to get rid of all the humans first. The rest would take care of itself.
