In response to "Rob"'s question, is it possible to change the line input? If so, how?

You can record video on demand shows to VCR. I'm assuming that Comcast provided you with an external digital box to order the on demand content. You can connect the composite output (yellow, red, white jacks) from the box to the same type of inputs that should be on the VCR. You'll then just need to make sure that the input on the VCR has been set to the correct "line" input to view the signal coming from the Comcast box (as opposed to channel 2, 3, 4 etc). You can test to make sure you have the correct input set on the VCR if the VCR output is running to the TV. If you can change the channels on the Comcast box and see the channels change on the TV after hooking it up like this, then the only thing left to do is press record on your VCR once you've started your on-demand show and pressing stop once it's done.

As long as it is direct from the cable box, you should have no problem, best to use the coaxal cable for this. By the way, did you know that you can hook the audio of your cable box to your stereo? The sound from that is amazing.

If you can record normal cable tv shows, you can record 'On Demand' shows as well. So the answer is yes, it works on the same principle.

Oh man, I love that Comcast song. Now it'll be in my head all day.

Especially the part where he says "You can eat popcorn out of my head."
