I have two computers one is connected to internet via DSL, how to share internet on other computer using windows XP internet sharing option.

To do this in the computer with the DSL connected you will need two ethernet cards (or USB connection to net and one ethernet card)

Once that is done enable ICS (internet connection sharing) on the machine with the DSL connected. That will "bridge the two connectors" and should enable the other machine to connect.

Microsoft has a great step by step for this.. just look for ICS or internet connection sharing on the website.

You don't unless they are connected by network or both to the net. Using the sharing is not a very good idea. It will not only go where you want it but others an also get it.

If you want to move something from one computer to another and they are not on a network then use a memory stick and load it on the stick ad then unload it on the other computer.

I have three computers and two are not on the net or on a network and the memory stick does the job very well.
