i'm going to asbury park this summer and i was wondering is anything to do in the area?

go to six flags in jackson nj it is close and off interstate 195 they have the worlds fastest and tallest coaster and el toro is one bad *** wooden coaster with the steepest drop of a wooden coaster in the world , would take bout 35 to 40 min to get there.

Allaire State Park is nearby. That was one of my favorite places when I was growing up. There's a neat old historic village there and you can ride the Pine Creek Railroad.

Not too many The place has had some real hard time.
You can go to the beach but no attractions.
