NVIDIA-Geforce GA7400 is a Good Graphic card and should give good Video Output on your TV.
I think there might be some configuration issues.
First update the latest drivers for your Graphic Card.
Then go to the Display setting and play with them until you find good qulaity on ur screen.
For the audio. You can buy a PCMCI Audio card from Creative live Sound Blaster or an USB External Sound Card and connect them to External Speakers. Or to your TV Speakers.
Laptop speakers have max output of 1-5 watts and dont expect too much sound from them.
Or you can try connecting the Line Out of your laptop to the Line in of your TV.
You might need to get some cables and adapters to do this.
But someone who knows the basics can help you out in this.

Well I doubt if you are going to get any better image quality than what you have already seen. This is probably a function of the video card (or chip) in your laptop.
As for the audio; the S-Video is a video only connector. You will need to also connect an audio cable from your laptop to the audio inputs of your TV. Usually these cables have one mini plug at one end for the computer and two RCA type plugs at the other end for the right and left audio channels of your TV.

If it’s a greater moderen television it could have a VGA or DVI enter the place you could plug your laptop into it using the VGA output on the back of the laptop. There are VGA to DVI adapters in case you have a DVI enter on your television. once you tried the VGA to S video cable did you be helpful you press the function key on your pc that switches the video from the liquid crystal demonstrate demonstrate screen on the pc to the VGA output? in basic terms plugging it into the television won't make it artwork in case you do no longer tell the laptop the place to output the video. There might desire to be a key on your keyboard that asserts function or something comparable. There might desire to additionally be a key that has a image of a demonstrate screen on that and you press the function key and that key on the same time to toggle between pc and exterior output. There might desire to be 3 modes, one for liquid crystal demonstrate purely, one for output purely (television on your case) and one which will tutor video on the two monitors.

The output of the svideo from your laptop is most likely only 640x480. This is actually the format of most tv's. Newer tv's can support higher resolutions like 800x600 and 1024x768. I wiuld suggest the following. Right click on your Desktop - Properties - Setting - (you you have two monitors on the settings) - Double click o the right monitor and change the settings to a higher resolution. Also, you can run a mini din to stereo cables from your headphone outputs on your laptop to the stero inoputs on your tv for sound output.

S-video does not include any sound. You would also need to take a cable from your headphone jack on your laptop, and put it into the tv also. You will probably need an adapter to turn it into RCA jacks.
You might lower the resolution on your screen before putting it on the TV. TV's cannot do high resolution, and it may have to downscale it first.
Hope that helps.

Read the laptop user manual. Use a separate audio cable.
The quality will be yukky on the TV, you can't do much about it.
