if normal pay is £7 an hour overtime would be 7/2+7 which is a rate of £10.50

If he earns £7 per hour, his overtime rate is 150% (which is the same as multiplying by 1.50)

Percentage / 100 = Decimal Value

Therefore, 7 x 1.5 = 10.50
He earns £10.50 per hour for overtime.

=£420
