I would, I can't tell you the last phone booth I have seen really.

Probably not due to the fact that it would be hard to find a phone booth in the first place and second of all in the movies it's usually some scary person that's gonna get ya!

LMAO YESSSSSSS I have!! It was a public phone in a truck stop and it rang and rang, then quit for a minute then rang again. Evidently, a trucker had given the number to his wife at home saying it was a number he could be reached at KNOWING that it was a pay phone and no one would answer it. Turns out, the man was cheating on her and when I answered it, she started going off on me! I calmed her down and told her that it was a truck stop phone and she asked me if I saw a blue peterbilt with a name on it which so happens I did see as I was pulling in the place, and it had a man and a woman in it! BUSTED!! LOL!

Where I live, you can't actually answer a public phone, it rings if you call it, but it will keep ringing even if you pick it up. So I wouldn't answer, as I wouldn't want to look stupid.

However, most people here don't know that you can't answer public phones. We like to go to this cafe across the road and upstairs from a public phone and call it, and then laugh at all the people who try to answer it. Then when they realise it's still ringing, we yell out "RING RING" and laugh some more as they look round to see who's yelling. Of course, they never think to look up!

Yes. I would want to know who would be ringing a phone booth. It's a random opportunity to make a new friend.

It would depend on where the phone booth was. If in a safe, crowded area, and someone else was with me, I probably would.

approximately 20 years in the past i replaced into at San Jose State and interior the library there replaced right into a telephone sales area with a working telephone. I favourite telephone cubicles to the way it incredibly is now. I dont discover it atypical. it incredibly is the way it incredibly is going to possibly be, some privateness, no longer listening to human beings babbling in all places. Ugh. telephone cubicles have been on each street nook.

Yes, I would talk to the person on the other end like we have known each other for a long time. Then, I would laugh for the rest of the day. That or I would be crazy weird like, "hey baby, I knew you would call me back". Yeah, I would have fun.
