Two on each. Wash the top one regularly and the other intermittently. Helps stop the pillow from being soiled.

Just one, but I have thought about using two, going in opposite directions. Seems as though I am a wild sleeper and the case is usually half off in the moring.

I have two pillowcases on my feather pillows because they stick out and poke if I don't, lol! :) All the others, just one.

you only need one to cover the actual pillow, from bacteria and stuff
