The President did not cause Hurricane Katrina. Natural disasters are no one's fault. You have been misguided by the left wing liberal loonies in the main stream media. Iraq is not a negative. The US defeated the Iraq army, ousted a brutal dictator and got free elections set up. The mayhem in Iraq is solely due to muslim crazies who run around killing their own so they can take over the world.
The President and his administration got the US through the 9/11 disasters. The President's economic moves got the US out of a recession started by Mr. Clinton. Cutting tax rates has stimulated the US economy to the point where it cannot really get any better than it is. Unemployment is at 4.5%. It does not get much better than that. About 150 million people are working.
Mr. Bush's only negative to date is his support for the non-amnesty immigration reform bill.

Show the World the US is a super power by taking over two country in less than 3 years one of them had the 3 biggest army.
Im in the Army and I was in Lousiana for Katrina and you had almost every Agency you could imagine, DEA, FBI, CIA, NYPD, LAPD, US ARMY, USAF, Marines , KBR, Black Waters Border Patrol, Coast Guard, State Guard, National Guard among others so i dont know what else you want it bush to do the one that fail was FEMA cuz the simple fact no one in the US had a plan of action for an event like this. Katrina was a tranning aid for the FEMA and other Agency

He shouldn't but who knows the way this country is going! Bush has done a lot. Bush has helped our economy grow. Bush has helped the middle class with tax cuts. But that was taken away when the Dem's got into power. Katrina yes there where mistakes but I do not believe it all falls on Bush. Bush gave the funds for the States and they were supposed to distribute then as soon as possible. But I believe that no one was ready for Katrina. Iraq, well I feel Bush was trying to protect this country. All his information was not completely right but it wasn't all wrong either. Saddam was a very cruel dictator to his own people. The world is a better place with our him that is for sure. Bush, I believe loves his country and takes his job very serious! We all make mistakes. Just think all this President has had to deal with and through it all he is everywhere. I think President Bush is a true patriot. He has to rely on intelligence he cannot be everywhere at the same time. It really doesn't matter why we are in the war because we are and we need to unite for our country and our brave troops. There is no question that we do have to win the war. Mr. Bush is not a yes man and he doesn't care about being popular. As a president he has to make life and death decisions everyday. I sure wouldn't want his job every. He is very brave and no matter what does what he thinks is right. Who are we to judge until we have all the facts and even then it's not our decision it if Gods.

Unless your gay, your children will probably open up their history text books and read that George W. Bush is one of the greatest presidents. He handled 9/11, brought Saddam out of power, brought our economy and market to record highs, tax breaks for the middle class keeping more hard earned money in their pockets, lower than 5% unemployment, fighting a war on terrorism, No Child Left Behind Act, Homeland Security. All that is missing is the capturing of Osama and closing our border. Oh yea, and the katrina thing, you dont have to be the smartest to figure out that New Orleans, a city below sea level, was going to be submerged when a week before hand, the entire gulf of Mexico was covered by a category 5 hurricane. It was a failure because a few thousand people decided to stay and not listen to the warning to reape the benefits from the government. Honestly, W should have just said sorry New Orleans, you are SOL. No one should blame George Bush for a force of nature and the stupidity of those who stayed in their homes.

First off....either Bush is an evil mastermind, or is he a bumbling idiot? The press needs to decide why they hate him. First he "screws up" in the middle east by thinking there are weapons of mass descrution, then he is an evil master mind by creating a huge storm to whipe out the "black region" of the united states. How can he be both? My take you ask? Well, we needed to go to Iraq. Sodom was a Hitler in the making, and I should hope we would learn from the past and not repeast mistakes. Sodom tried a mass genocide of the Kurdish people, he did horrific things to his subjects. He was evil, he needed to be taken care of. We did think he had weapons. We got this news from Clinton's appointed CIA top dog. He was not a republican with an agenda. And for all we know Sodom did have weapons, we found mass storages of chemicals that could easily whipe out a 1/3 of America. We had to contend with Sodom at the same time we were searching (still are... and will continue to... God willing) for Osama Bin Laden. It litterally is a GLOBAL WAR on Terrorism. We have to finish the job. Any president would be between a rock and a hard place, but with Bush, he doesn't back away and he isn't affraid of the press. He is a man of conviction (not a flip-floper) and the press hates that. Now, how the heck would Bush start a hurricane? And why was he solely to blame for LA lack of hussle? I blame the governor. The DEMOCRAT govenor. Why doesn't she get blamed? Because the press has an agenda that it must push. Gone our the days of intergrity and here are the days of yellow journalism. It's just wrong. So many Americans are victims of the media they can't think for themselves these days.

He believes in the USA, we are not a country or losers.
He returned dignity to the office of President.
He does not run the country according to the latest poll.
He takes a stand: signed late term abortion bill to save a living baby; vetoed bill contain withdrawal dates from Iraq, not putting our service men in greater danger.
Has promoted with sincerity, keeping terrorists attacks outside of the US.
He is not an attorney, you don't need to be one to be
President.
He has promoted various levels of continuing education for those out of the current work force, and for those from companies being downsized. Not recognized by the media so the public could benefit.
He promoted conservative candidates for the Supreme Court.
He has attempted to protect the Constitution and desired to return the power to the states, which is what the C is all about.
Example, attempting to do away with the Dept of Education
at the federal level.
Cut taxes, small business is the largest creator of jobs in this nation. With tax burden relieved, small business can expand.
With regard to Katrina, having lived in Fla for 40 years and having losses from 3 hurricanes in 2 years.
Katrina damage was not entirely a federal mishap. That area had a week advance notice, and a past history of horrendous former hurricanes to draw recall from. The city and state authorities are the ones that should have stepped up to the plate and taken action ahead of time.

Only history can say for sure, but it is very unlikely that he will. Jimmy Carter will definitely be one of the worst, and the way history is dictating at this time, Bill Clinton will also go down as one of the worst. George W Bush inherited a huge mess from the administration before him and then 9-11. He has done a very good job so far.

Definitely not. Clinton, Carter, LBJ, and Fillmore all come to mind. He is not the best either.
Positives:
not a flip-floper
more leadership than the poll-followers
beat Al (internet inventor and global warming guru) Gore (Thank God)
Beat John Kerry (ditto)
Tax cuts
At least we're talking about border security and illegal immigration ( this is more due to Tom Tancredo than Bush)
If he is responsible for Katrina he is the most powerful president we have ever had.
With the advisors he inherited from Clinton he wasn't the only one who thought Saddam had WMD. (He did and he used them on th Kurds)
etc.

No! "all time"is forever, and we do not know what the future holds. Will he go down as a President who possibly made the worse military blunder to date, I think so. As to his positive contributions , I have spent a lot of time thinking about that part of your question, and for the life of me, I can't think of one single solitary thing that he has done of a positive nature. Perhaps, I haven't thought hard enough, or perhaps I see a man sitting as President of the US who is the wrong man for the job .
