I agree with Twinkie. I thought the debates were informative, but I also think that none of the candidates in this particular debate will get the nomination.
I tuned to C-Span to catch Fred Thompson speaking a couple of days ago, and I'm sold. I think he will get the nomination for the Republican party, and if he does, I will be voting for him.

They did pass over an threat. The 4 front-runners all referred to schedule conflicts, that's in all risk genuine. Gotta pass the place the main action is, and because Morgan State college has purely 7000 scholars, this debate could no longer be reported as a "key threat", besides the reality that it grow to be televised. the form grow to be greater a black exhibit than a real debate. not one of the various applicants who did appear have been given lots time to communicate, and including 4 greater large-call applicants could have in basic terms made concerns that quite greater problematical. Ron Paul did no longer do properly in any respect, and the moderator continuously had to renounce Alan Keyes from rambling on previous his alloted time (Sorry, yet he acted greater like a preacher than a candidate for the Presidency of the u . s . a .). Mike Huckabee, Douglas Hunter, and Sam Brownback all did properly, with clean and trustworthy solutions, and info of numerous adventure, a stable prepare of thought, and an reason to artwork with and sell the black community in forging a greater helpful united statesa..

I turned channels after about a half hour. There were way too many candidates for a good debate. Most of the responses were very measured to address a specific audience. Too much personal diatribes and not enough interest in changing the way we handle politics.

I thought it was exciting and new to have so many candidates! I enjoyed it. I actually felt that one of these guys can turn this county around! Mitt Romney is good but is he too good, I don't know. But I do like him. Rudy is a very smart guy but some of his issues I just cannot agree on but on the war he would be great! They were all pretty good. They spoke there views and held strong to there views. They even joked around some that is refreshing. We need some humor in this world. But my favorite candidate is Fred Thompson have you heard him speak? I really like him a lot. I have to listen a lot more to all the candidate but Fred really caught my attention.
Watch him sometime and see what you think.

I thought they were kind of boring and there was way to much religious talk... it seemed a little forced coming from McCain. I liked Ron Paul's libertarian ideas but he doesn't have a shot and I love Rudy's hands off approach to lots of social issues...he's my guy...I hope he wins the primaries...unfortunately I think the Republicans have an uphill battle if they want to keep the White House...all I can do is remind everyone that this is a Republic, NOT a socialist country and hope that people do the right thing come election day...

The one thing that I notice was that the candidates didn't answer the question asked. They went off on fantasy land explanations never answering what was asked. They seemed more like preachers from the pulpit.

It's been a longtime coming but they told the true finally about the failed Bush Administration! Hopefully they will represent much better if given the opportunity to lead!

It's too bad that Mr. Huckabee (sp?) believes in a vicious, violent, brutish Old Testament / Leviticus 'god' fabricated by brutish, violent, vicious people thousands of years ago...cause he's basically a good guy.
I_love_my_mP is surely aware that the U.S. is a democratic republic.
Do all the people giving me thumbs down really think God tells people to kill others, to maim others, to destroy others? Come on!...Use your damn nuggin for a change.
