I was involved as a witness in a big murder trial in the North of England, the murderer was called John Healey and he abducted a small girl and burnt her in a forest. He then came to Blackpool pleasure beach and bought a hamburger off me, subsequently I was his supposed alibi. I had to go to court and it was awful, he is now serving life.

I witnessed an internet crime being advertised on here once. This woman posted a question asking everyone to look at this site because "it was soooo cute". I was curious so I looked. The website was based on this woman who had been abused and her ex had destroyed everything they own and could people please send money and goods so they could reestablish themselves. Among the list of items she wanted was a new computer (obviously the one she had wasn't good enough and if everything was destroyed where did it come from), DVDs and PlayStation 2 games (again if she could afford to buy a PlayStation 2 why could she not afford towels and clothes for her family-bare necessities were mention), and numerous other frivolous items that insinuated she had already purchased something that was quite costly. Anyway, I had an idea this might be a scam not only because of all that she wanted but also because she stated she could not post her phone number in fear that her ex would find her which would have made sense if she hadn't posted her address where all the checks and goodies could be sent. At least with the address I was able to contact the local police department who then searched the house discovering it was indeed a scam (the house was packed with all the goodies she claimed she didn't have) and there were no kids.

I was at a murder scene where a woman blew her the top of husband's head off with a shotgun. I was with the Franklin County Coroner on that occasion. It happened in the bedroom, and it occurred because the husband wanted his wife to have a psychiatric evaluation.
There were state police all over the place, and both the state police and the coroner took many photographs. I will not describe the gory details. Eventually the body was removed, and the coroner had to notify the next of kin.

Do you honestly expect people to answer this question? Remember a witness to a crime is in danger the rest of thier lives. No matter what the crime was. To ask people to pu themselves in harm's way is, well it is just wrong.

I have seen shoplifting at a well known discount store.I knew they would get caught by security so I did nothing. Also a boyfriend of my neighbor was pushing her around so I stepped out the door with my phone and he left very fast. She did not want me to call police so I didn't.

I've seen people download music from Limewire.
Years ago I used to see people copying my tapes.
So far nothing has happened as a result of these crimes.
