It's disgusting, this house was vacant for a while (it's a very nice house) and when we moved in and started using the water, this smell came up. It is millions of tiny leach-like creatures. What is going on here?

We had it too. They are the larvae of the stinkbug beetle. harmless but pesky....we are still battling with them here but have not gotten the drain problem again. My hubby poured some cheap drain cleaner (a few gallons of it down the drain and it killed them. Then when we found out what they were (because we had seen the beetles in our house and looked them up on the internet) we went to lowes and got some yard spray that you hook to your garden hose and sprayed the yard. They come up out of the ground and die and you'll find larvae all over the yard. Then you have to keep up with spraying every spring and fall ...and still you'll see a few in the house but they are the adult beetles...they look like a brown or green shield and when you squish them they stink like pine sap. Good Luck ...like I said we've been here 5 years and still see a few each season. (oh and they like to live in the tops of your curtains when they are adult beetles). So don't be surprised.....

Oh...yeah amost forgot ...those worms look like macaroni noodles stuffed with ground beef ( a little) but they move ?

EEEWWWW....

Ok, I got that out of my system... I would buy some cheap bleach a few gallons and pour that directly down all your drains at night and let it sit... Drain cleaner may ruin your pipes...Bleach won't and it's cheaper.... Just remember to flush the toilets in the AM before you use them.....Or you'll knock yourself out with fumes.... Good luck....
