A small fry is $1 excluding tax. There are other items on the dollar menu, including pop, burgers, cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets, and other stuff. Items can get more expensive, but I think McDonald's offers a great value.

They cost $1.00 USD in my area, but if you say "McFries" they will upsize-it to a medium size fries for the same price. And at some McDonald's if you say "Senior Size" drink, it's free.

Here they are 99 cents plus tax..61/2 %..which usually comes to $ 1.07...McDonalds does have good french fries..we order ours well done..so they are long and crispy and not greasy!
