I have since I was 17, half a lifetime ago. I can't wear contacts. And on top of that my expensive glasses broke 2 weeks ago and I can't afford a new pair for a while so I'm stuck with glasses from 17 years ago! I look like an owl!

I feel like Fred Sanford.
I have many pairs of glasses or as I call them.. OPG's (old peoples glasses).
125 for watching TV.
250 for normal reading.
300 for the newspaper, most of it is smaller.
then I have a few of each at home or work.
and of course Sun Glasses, I live in the "Sunshine State" gotta have em. ♥

Yes and have to wear them all the time, otherwise I'm as blind as a bat. Interesting to note though, when doing super-fine, close work, I can see better without my glasses than most people can when they don't need any. Providing it under 6" from my nose!
I'm always the one asked to get out splinters, etc.

I wear glasses and contacts. Usually glasses at home because sometimes my eyes need a rest. I usually wear contacts when I leave the house; partly because they look better, and also because I love designer sunglasses!

Yes, I wear ones to improve my long-distance sight.
I only really need them for that, but they don't affect my short-distance sight too badly, so if I'm doing something that requires a lot of switching (for example, being in school, switching between looking at the board and writing), I'll wear them throughout it.
However, if I'm just using my short-distance sight, for example sitting at my computer screen, I'll take them off so as not to damage my eyes any further.
