War is always beneficial in the eyes of the victor. I am sure people who believe in Fascism or Communism didn't see things that way, or people in Africa (Angola etc) where war just led from one corrupt President/Leader to another corrupt President/Leader. I am just offering another viewpoint - I am neither fascist, Nazi communists or anything other than an everyday person, - so has war benefited me? yes because I continue to live the kind of life I choose and not one that is chosen for me. However, I do believe war solves nothing in a positive way - there is always too great a cost, and nine times out of ten it is only the corrupt that benefit. An old saying states - you make a million from the birth of a country or the fall of a country.

I believe you pretty much covered it all.
I might note that the only ones who would disagree might be inclined to support enslaving AMerica in fascism, nazism or communism, so there point of view on the topic is not relevant in my mind.

Which war ended communism? It ended in Europe without a war - and was still going in NK, Cuba and China last I saw.
Guess that habit of declaring mission accomplished a little early runs through the right.
Anyway what is your point? That war is a good thing and should be cherished? That it is always justified?

um well im not real big on war and killing n such and solving things with violence. But hmmmmm do you live in the U.S. Well you can pretty much thank war for that........ You know that small ordeal back in the 1700's i believe it was called the "American Revolution"
And then theres the extremely high gas prices u can thank war for that too hehe
war is win/lose its a double edged sword.
Or in some cases it can be lose/lose but rarely win/win
Profound you say? well aristotle is my daddy.
hahah in all seriousness plenty have benifeted from war but just as many have lost as much.
So war is kinda pointless i'd say it just sort of evens itself out.
What i dont understand is we wage war on ppl for killing,
when Mcdonalds kills more ppl than sadamn insane or al kaeda. So les blow up mcyd's come on whos with me!? hooorah!
In a sense Ronald is a red haird hitler you might say.
