(1) You wouldn't have the seasons of the year. The sun would reach the same elevation in the sky every day. For the people who live on the equator, for example, the sun would pass directly overhead every day. Tropical regions would become hotter, and frigid regions would become colder.

1. there will be no seasons. only the equator will receive perpendicular rays from the sun, so the monsoon season in china and india will be affected. the mid-lattitude weather of the northern hemisphere would be significantly altered. Plants might die because they are evolved to grow with the seasons.

2. if the animals were extinct then the plants might follow suit. everything on earth evolved together. without the bees, flowers and our food does not get pollinated. animal poop is used as fertilizer for plants. birds eat fruit and poop out seeds, thus doing a service to the plants by spreading thier seeds.

3. think about china who was or is experiencing a drought. thier rain comes from season monsoons. if the monsoon does not come or comes late, then growing seasons are cut short and famine could follow.

these are the answers as far as i know:
1) there will not be enough heat in earth.
summer won't be like the summer we have now.

2)the food chain will be ultimately disturbed. there will be lots and lots of plants but no animals to eat them.so, the plant population will increase by leaps and bounds. (p.s: there is very less possibility of this happening)

3)if monsoon doesn't reach a country on time, there will be no rain in the correst time. without rain at the right time, the crops will die. as a result, harvest will be low and the food production of that place will be less. this may lead to food scarcity.
