Depends on how large the damaged area is so lets say around a £100. You might also have a look in the yellow pages, there are quite a few small franchise scuff and dent mobile repair these days.

I used a company called Chips-Away. They use smart paint repair technology which paints the scuff, not the whole bumper. They come to your house or work place which means you are not without your car while it is in the body-shop for 2 or 3 days. My repair cost £85 for scuff marks down to the primer, and the results were absolutely brilliant, couldn't tell there had ever been damaged paintwork.

Try compounding it out. If not, sand with 400 grit, spray with can of touch-up, then compound out when dry. Cost about $5.00. Otherwise body shop could be up to $300

Why does it matter to use here that it was scraped by your wife? You two need marital therapy - beside a new bumper.

Or get estimates at local bodyshops--if they can fix and paint one side, might only run 200.00, otherwise, fix and paint the whole bumper is about 350-400.00

without photos, no one can give you any type of accurate response to that question. you need to talk to someone in person you trust even if its just for a reference. body damage estimates from description alone are never right
