We don't really know. There are many theories. We know that in the very beginning he was in Egypt. However, by the time he was 12 he was teaching the elders in the Temple. Between 12 and 30, we can't be sure, but it is certain that he was doing things, having experiences that would prepare him for his ministry, which he started at age 30. Many believe that Mary's husband, Joseph, died when Jesus was quite young. Jesus may have spent time with family friend Joseph of Arimathea, travelling around. Some believe that Jesus went into the East. Some say that he went as far west as England. It is likely that he did much learning as he travelled and likely some teaching as well. Some believe that he was married before his formal ministry began. For now, we just don't know.

It was suggested by some researchers that Jesus spent time in Egypt between those years and was basically raised as an Egyptian, kinda like a Jewish immigrant who grew up in Egypt. The reason for the migration was probably due to Herod's manhunt for the Jewish Messiah prophecied by the 3 Magi's(or 3 kings if you will) who visited him searching for the infant who would be King of the Jews, a title which Herod being the Roman appointed ruler over the Jews holds, leading him to fear rebelllion and his throne being taken from him, which lead Him to decree a search for and execution of young boys of a certain age(the same as Jesus), this event was henceforth known as "The massacre of the innocents".

A Juvenile arrest record is usually sealed by the courts at age eighteen. Which is Jesus are we talking about? But seriously what was there to write about? In truth there were 'Christian' tales of boy Jesus a lot like the Comedy Channels up-coming cartoon about third grade Geo W. These 'lost' or 'hidden' books of the New Testament of the Bible are readily available and you can read about young Jesus killing a bird and then bringing it back to life among other wonders. Hey wasn't that a show about kids - - - The Wonder Years.
No one had a clue that Jesus was gonna grow up and become famous so no one thought to follow him around with a camera crew or even one lowly scribe recording every grunt & gesture - - - besides wouldn't you rather read about the adult Jesus bringing a message of Hope to the world rather than thirty pages on how Jesus dealt with acne?
Peace

Actually, he had a three year ministry before he was crucified, and he was chatting to the elders in the temple when he was about twelve, so we know at least a few more years. There are several theories to his whereabouts in his teens and twenties, such as the possiblity of him travelling to India (notice the smiliaritiy in the words Christ and Krishna) or even China, as his teachings, particularly about finding God within yourself, are very Taoist and such a change from old Judaism. Why did you say "introduced at 7"? I seem to remember the story of his birth very clearly.

Not necessarily 33 - it's chosen as an ideal age.
The gibe "Thou art not yet fifty" (St John) suggests he was a good deal older, in his forties. And don't forget John is an eyewitness, at least in parts.
The bible says that Jesus "grew in wisdom". By the time he began his ministry he knew the scriptures thoroughly. All that learning took time.
