....are evidence that God still roams about the Earth creating things from time to time as his fancy suits him? A purple fluorescent frog for example. God, you are so cool! I love purple!

Sorry, but South America has been pretty thoroughly discovered. It has also been openly discussed in science circles that there are new species of insect in well-trafficked areas and that the scientists discussing it believe they are new evolutions. If scientists can say they are newly evolved, I can say they are newly created.

Something's up there, for sure. Darwin's dead. God isn't.

No, I disagree, as a biologist, I believe that with the expanding human population, that new areas are being explored. The species have existed for a very long time but remained hidden. Since I have been in China, I have found several new species of both reptiles and insects but they are not new species...but were only undiscovered. If you visit some habitats you will understand the difficulties of exploring and collecting specimens. Here in GuangXi Province, the mountains, while not high, are very rugged and almost vertical in some places...I believe that there are perhaps several hundred species of insects yet to be found here and perhaps as many species of reptiles. There are still species of birds and mammals to be found but they would be in smaller numbers. Field Biology is not like a walk around a zoo, but working in heat, jungles, swamps and you sometimes find things that like to eat people.

That's like saying that just because you've never been somewhere before, and you decide to go, that it all of a sudden popped into existance. Yes, Divinity is grand, but not all of us have the same concept of "god" as you do, I personally think It has nothing to do with this other than making it possible for the species to be there and us being able to find them, but I'm not here for religious debate.

Not at all. Just because you haven't seen a species before does not mean some god just popped it into being today.
