You’re having dinner with your new date and during conversation they told you a story and you noticed that they were probably lying, what would you do? What would you do if you knew they were lying?

During my first date with this guy, he got a text message in the middle of our dinner. He replied to the message and little did he know, the message came to me! It said something like this, "I'm will be back later, having dinner with a distributor. Call you when i'm done."

I was also kinda dumb then and asked him why are you texting me? He said NO, i did not send you anything. It's probably the cell phone network got congested or something. I sensed something amiss but didn't pursue further.

After that dinner, we never saw each other again.

A few months later i've learned that his gf gave birth to a baby girl!

It really depends, on the full situation. I mean if ur looking at this whole thing seriously. I have to look at it I guess like a guy. If and this is IF I am there only to try to get a BJ or something like that, then NO BIG DEAL. BUT If I am there to try to get something as in a relationship going then I might question it and in a way where she could correct herself without embarrassment. If the lie/s continued I would most likely just let it go and at the end of our date well it would be the end.

There's a difference between probably and definitely.

If it was definite, I'd terminate the date there and then and tell her why. Not the kind of person I would want to date.

Counter-offensive, solve the problem. Eat the dinner, enjoy the night.

Absolutely, I would also judge if there would be a second date by the way he/she responded to the confrontation.

depends whether i was hopeful it would go further.
if i did, i would make them aware subtly that i knew, if i knew it was a one time thing i would let them dig a hole for themselves. watch them squirm, and use it as a reason to never see them again

Nothing. It's going to be the last date anyway.
