i really do know how you feel
and how frightening and debilitating they are
they left me housebound for 10 months, up until recently.
i worked with a therapist, no meds, and learnt how to control them, you can too
when they happen your body speeds up, inside. as soon as you feel it start to happen, instead of thinking "i'm scared, its happening again" take a slow deep breath in, through your nose, and out through your mouth, exagerate it, and keep doing this, ignore whats going on around about you, this is all about you and how you are feeling, the breathing, long and slow slows down your heart and restores calm
it took me a while to accept, achieve and overcome this,and i'm far from better, but each time you conquer the panic it gives you the strength to do it again the next time, and each time they will be less and less severe, and you will learn that you will be ok
of course there is lots more to it than simply this, a therapist will work with you at your pace and you will win, i wish you all the luck in the world

Usally you cant relly tink straight during a panic attack but here is a few thing syou could do: Drink water, Usally you'll be breathing heavily so you dont want to get all dry and feel ****. Leave areas with lots of people try and find a quite place, Have someone with you to comfort you, Someone to hold your hand or hug you. Tell your friends that you get panic attacks and that they should try and help you by taking you somewhere quiet. I hope this helps

I have them too. They come and then they go away, and then they come again. I am alright right now, but just few weeks ago had a severe one for days. It really makes things very complicated. Basically what you have to do is to identify what triggers them exactly; and when you start experiencing one, try to identify and analyze your whole thought pattern during an attack, from the beginning to an end. Your goal is NOT to suppress the attack, but to identify the triggers DURING an attack. Don't worry what others think or how you look to others, just focus on accomplishing the mission to track your thought pattern during an attack and find the triggers. This will be really hard to do, but you have to do it. This is will give you the control over the attacks.

Panic attacks suck. When I have them, I try to think of the fact that things will get better in life, no matter how horrible they seem to be at the moment. Sometimes it helps if you just let the panic attack run its course rather than fighting it, if that helps at all.

You already know that. You need to find the answers within yourself instead of depending on other people to 'make it better.' It will take work, but it will help you.
Work with a therapist on that.

take 10 deep breaths.
yeah, you heard me.
write down your goals in life.
do it!
now read it out loud. to yourself. every day. remind yourself you have two eyes, two arms, and are capable of doing what is right.
this is just you staking your territory. you need to have a handle on who you are. panic means lack of a plan or foundation. help yourself and a-r-t-i-c-u-l-a-t-e y-o-u-r g-o-a-l-s.
